Player Bios p1

Here are the starts of the player bios. Due to the working hours of some players this will not be in any particular order.

Player / Army: Bio

Robert / Iron Hounds: Robert is a Warhammr 40K vet of 10 years. He currently has 4 armies that are always in progress, these include 8,000 points of World Eaters, 5,000 points of Imprial Guard Infantry and Tank regiments, 8,000 points of his loyalist Iron Hounds (entirety of fluff will be updated on a later post), and the newest of all the; the dreaded Necrons.

He is known for is daring tactics with the main focus of decimating his foe. While this does not work most times, he has come up with some amazing plays. Such as busting through a wall and charging the unexpected defenders with Khorne Berzerkers, to taking immense firepower from the Tau over 4 turns and surviving to tell the tale of his near victory (dam those closing stores!)

Brief background of the Iron Houds:

The Iron Hounds are the remanants of the Iron Warrior legion that was instructed to hold the Genicaeus System at all costs. While the system was trapped in the warp storm time seemed to flow more slowly for those trapped within the system, while they seemed to feel time move normally in reality 2000 years equated to more like 50 years for them. This led to the Iron Hounds developing unique and useful technologies such as their prized Howler, a long ranged medium battle tank.

Currnetly in the Genicaeus system there are Orks that have taken ahold of the deathworld and are in the process of being completly destroyed. This beasts entered the system during the time that the warp storm surrounding the system ebbed around M37 unbeknowest to the Iron Hounds and were able to set up on the deathworld Genicaeus VII. For what has seemed like 500 years for the Iron Hounds, the Genicaeus Imperial Guard regiment, and the Orks, Genicaeus VII has been a vicious battle ground that has whittled the Iron Hounds down to a hand full of Battle Companies.

The Players

In this campaign we have a perdigious host of players ranging from those that have over 10 years experience to those that this will be their first campaign ever. For me this will be my biggest organized campaign to date and I am the one leading this. . . Joy . . .

Anyways on with the Players I will be going by sinority.

Player          Army

Robert         Iron Hounds
Jacob          Dark Eldar
Scott           Blood Falcons
Stephen       Tyranids
Kyle            Thousand Sons w/ Renegade Imperial Guard Allies
Ernesto        Grey Knights w/ Dark Angels Allies
Mike           Dark Eldar
Jonathan      Word Bearers
Jason          Imperial Guard Mechanized Infantry Regiment

As you can see this is an immense player base with almost every army in the game and few duplicates.

Each army has its own special modifications from modified Space Marine Predators to Thousand Sons Terminators. Some armies have specialized tanks or Flyers (Blood Angels) to even a brand new Monstrous Creature (The Gene Tyrant!)

The start of awesomeness

Well for everyone who is going to be looking at this here is the gist of this whole blog.

This blog is to document the Genicaeus Chronicles Campaign.

This Campaign will include every expansion that Games Workshop has produced and turn it into something viably amazing.

As time goes on I will be posting the rules and the style of this campaign as well as the bios and videos of the people playing in this campaign.

We will be adding to this campaign a unique multiplayer rule that will allow games of 4+ people to play with out the game being to imbalanced towards any one player.

We will also be using Evildice40K's There is Only War campaign in this as well but at a smaller scale.

Now to explain the Genicaeus System:

The Genicaeus System is surrounded by surging warp storms that abate once every 2,000 years only to return around 200 years later. The year is 950.M41 and the storms have just abated. The system is located near the Ghoul Stars which is mostly owned and controled by Orks though the Necrons have started their rise to power as well. \

The Genicaeus System is made up of 10 planets with 4 of them being habital. there is a Forge World, a Death World, a Agri World, and lastly a Hive World that also makes for a fortress world when the system is attacked.
